Before ordering a pallet of logs, check the route from the road to your store. A driveway that is easy to walk up may still be unsuitable for a loaded pallet truck, especially if the surface is loose or the route slopes.

Crates and bulk bags arrive on a pallet by tail lift lorry. The driver will not drive onto your property. A pallet truck needs a flat, hard surface and cannot cross gravel or grass. Where access is unsuitable, the load will be left kerbside.
Check where the vehicle can stop, the space needed to operate its tail lift and the route to your preferred unloading position. Read the vehicle dimensions and access requirements first if the entrance is narrow, there are overhead obstructions or the road is steep.
After delivery, the logs need shelter from rain, clearance from damp ground and ventilation. Work out how much wood your store can hold before choosing between a bulk bag, a crate and smaller packs.
A larger order can suit a stove used most days. For occasional fires or a limited store, a smaller quantity may be easier to handle. Check the declared volume and leave working space to transfer the wood after unloading.
Birch catches readily and gives a bright flame. Ash gives a steady burn, while oak burns more slowly once the fire is established.

No. The delivery vehicle must not be parked on a steep incline. Contact us before ordering if the road outside the property or proposed unloading position slopes steeply.
The published delivery lorry height is 3.4 metres. Overhanging trees and cables must not obstruct access; check the full vehicle and unloading requirements on the delivery page before ordering.
The pallet service does not include carrying and stacking individual logs. Where access allows, the complete pallet can be wheeled to a suitable position. Arrange any onward transfer into storage yourself.
A more precise estimate is not available for the 08:30–17:30 all-day pallet slot. If you need a narrower window, choose an alternative slot at checkout where one is offered.
The method depends on the particular product and pack quantity. Check the product listing and checkout details. Parcel deliveries use a third-party courier and do not need a signature.
