For a regularly used stove when you have space for a larger delivery. Check the volume against your usual consumption.
If you only light the fire at weekends, there is little point ordering more wood than you can keep dry. For a stove that is used every day, a larger supply can be more practical than repeated small purchases.
We deliver kiln dried hardwood logs to Scarborough, with bulk bags, crates and smaller packs available. Choose ash, birch, oak or mixed hardwoods for your fire, or use the dedicated pizza oven range for wood-fired cooking.
Check the log length, pack quantity and product description before ordering. Delivery options for your address are available at checkout.

Logs prepared for wood-fired cooking. Match the cut and length to your oven and the way you feed the fire.
For short fires, birch catches readily and gives a bright flame. Ash is a useful all-round choice, while oak gives a slower burn once the fire is established. The best choice also depends on the cut and the way you run your stove.
Browse the birch, ash and oak ranges, checking the maximum log length in your appliance manual before you buy.
When a supply lasts for several weeks or months, its storage matters. Keep the logs sheltered from rain, off damp ground and with air moving around them. Avoid wrapping the wood so tightly that moisture cannot escape.
Choose your order around the space available. A large load is useful only if you can protect all of it once it has been unloaded. The Ready to Burn guide explains more about dry firewood.
Bulk bags and crates arrive on a pallet by tail lift lorry. The driver will not drive onto your property. The pallet truck needs a flat, hard surface; it cannot travel across grass or gravel.
If your property is reached by a steep road, a narrow entrance or a route with restricted overhead clearance, check the delivery access requirements first. Where the pallet cannot be wheeled to a suitable position, delivery will be kerbside.
Call 01653 668177 before ordering if you need to discuss access or decide which pack size is manageable.
No. Parcels are delivered by a third-party courier and do not need to be signed for. Check which delivery method applies to the product you choose.
Yes. A dispatch confirmation is sent by email. Check the delivery slot selected for a pallet order when planning to receive it.
Pallet delivery moves the bag or crate as a complete load; it is not a service for carrying or stacking individual logs. You will need to arrange any transfer from the unloading point into your store.
Usually, yes. Dry logs still need a small, established fire to get going. Use dry kindling and a suitable firelighter, following the lighting method recommended for your appliance.
No. Kiln drying does not stop wood absorbing moisture again. Protect the logs from rain after delivery and keep them in a ventilated, dry store.
